Here's a piece I did for an event over on tubmblr that doesn't look like it's gonna see the light of day. Ah well. So have some hurt!boys, LJ! Dedicated to maichan because she's nine kinds of cool and likes 'em banged up. (Me too.) Inspired by petite_madame's lovely use of bones. Hey, it takes a village, right?

Ahhh, beautiful! I love their faces... so lovely, so vibrant in the midst of all the bones and graveyard grays. The blood is really done well, and I love that Dean's gripping him, and the blood is thick, almost right over where his tattoo. I know it's close to his heart too, but the lines of his shirt remind me more of the lines of the tattoo :) I love their hair, and Sam's hand in Dean's is just lovely.

(Question: Do you like crit? It's a very small thing, but if you don't like crit, we'll just pretend I didn't ask this question <3)

It's just a small thing: the bump on Dean's arm, I can't tell if it's his elbow (in which case I'd move it southwest until it's almost at the curve--or round out the point of his arm at the elbow crook; I know his arm is foreshortened, but it still looks off) or if it's an injury (in which case I'd put it elsewhere on his arm, so it doesn't get mistaken for an elbow, haha.) But even with that, I absolutely love this picture :)

That damned arm! Can you tell I didn't use ref? I think ya can. Yeah, it's supposed to be his elbow. I may well nudge it, as you suggested. (I'm kinda funny; once I've considered a piece 'done' in my noggin, it's tough for me to go back and edit, but this is such a small tweak, it'd be worth the effort.)

THANK YOU, BB, for the concrit! Sure, sure, it's always great to have sunshine blown up your skirt, but one piece of good advice is worth a hundred puffs of happy. ;)

*guh* that is beautiful - in a haunting, messed-up-boys way. I most definitely have a thing for banged up boys. Imagines like this always raised the question...what happened to them?! Argh...poor boys.

Wow, you. Gorgeous work! Awesome earth-tone coloring, too. And I absolutely love the ghostly, floating appearance of the bones. This is just beautiful. And heartbreaking -- Dean's expression is killing me. And poor Sam. What is he seeing?

This piece makes me SO darn sad (but not in a bad way. If that makes sense.)

Sometimes we're happy when it rains, right? ;) I totally ganked the bone theme from petite_madame; she's the queen of weaving creepy anatomy into concepts. Just love it!

What is Sam seeing? Is Dean slipping down with him? AAAAIIIEEEEE, the delicious angst!
