Love the smoke trail zuben name! And how nice to see Jensen as the mountain man for a change. The lighting and colours in the campfire scene are so lovely. If I hadn't already squee'd to see zuben's name, your art would be pushing me to go and read the story.

I'm so glad I waited to look at the art *while* reading the story. Of course, the banner is creative and brilliant and awesome, but I can't tell you how much it rocked to see the campfire picture exactly as it was occurring in the story! The firelight on their faces as they finally have that long-awaited conversation, the way they are curled together, the sky so pretty and the day emerging full of promise.... you made it so much more real!

And the simple sketch at the end is perfection! Completely sums up the resolution of the story, celebrating their differences and their togetherness in such an innovative and fun way!

Little secret: Zuben and I knew we wanted a There Was Only One Sleeping Bag scene, so I painted that before she wrote it. She gave me the scenario and vibe of the situation, and we collaborated on the imagery. So happy it worked! I actually need to read the beta'ed version. SO EXCITE
