Oh, wow, this is amazing. The red of the blood against the rest of the subdued palette, the way Sam is muscular and skinny at the same time, his too-long jeans (how does someone who's 6' 4" always end up with too-long jeans?), his face, the falling snow... amazing and gorgeous!!!

Re. the jeans, RIGHT?? I'm equally baffled. The first, like, three-four seasons, Sam managed to have baggy jeans but recently, gawd bless wardrobe, they've found jeans that fit him, length and all. In fact, a few of them have even seemed a little short, in later episodes. So with my illustration, the Mystery of Sam's Jeans continues. (Maybe they'll tackle this in a particular upcoming episode. Which I shan't spoil.)

Oh my, thank you for making this! I only just read the ficlet and it's riveting. Takes me back to that strange, half-conscious time when Sam was all stuck together with duct-tape and safety-pins, and for that I am so grateful (sick, I know...;-)

That is fucking stunning! The blood against the rest of it, with it's beautifully muted colours, wow, really really pops! And you managed to make his jeans fit - you're doing better than wardrobe have for the last five years, LOL! Although they've *ahem* tightened them up lately ;) This is gorgeous hun and fits the fic SO well!

You know what's so funny? Last year, I made some off-hand comment about how happy I was that Sam's jeans were finally starting to fit (in that I said they've both been wearing "better jeans" now), and someone railed on me because "Hey, they're poor, they couldn't afford good jeans, what's you're problem??" I don't even remember what SM platform it was now, but WHUT. *throws hands in air*
