It was fun to play with that tail color; I dunno why I thought cerise was such a right hue for it! Maybe I thought he'd be showy? :D

(And I'm back! With greater than 140 characters! XD) I love the vivid color of this, and just the aggressiveness?? of his fins. They remind me of certain species of sea dragons--elegant and fluid, but also don't-fuck-with-me. I love the way Sam's chest is upturned toward the rays of light--it really draws focus to all the little details of him. Gorgeous!

I actually have a "cover" for Yesternight vaguely concepted out, and hopefully I'll find time to do it this summer! In time for the final chapter??
