What a joy it is to see a fic from you!!!! And wow, what a fic it is!!!

I was fascinated by the world of slavery and magic you've woven so well here. I love it when an author drops us straight into the action of the fic, and then drops in breadcrumbs of backstory, all the while letting us get to know these new and intriguing characters. I love Jared's heating magic, and the reveal that Jensen too is gifted through metal and how it speaks to him.

I do hope to see you add to this and make it into a verse as you suggested - I would love to see more of these characters and their journey, and this darkly magical world! Thank you so much for sharing. Take care :)

Thanks, punkin! I've gotten such lovely feedback and encouragement to continue (over on AO3, of all places!) that I'm gonna really try to flesh out a longer fic, but I've done precious few of those so...we shall see!
