Is it an axis of evil? It's not

Warm greetings from Palmyra...Syria...I can't find words to describe how the things are here.
Arabic nights. Moon's upside down, southern stars are glittering in the sleepy desert...
Is it real?
سورياانا بحب
انتي جميلا

Seems you are moving non stop, first Norway, now Syria.... nice life :) What you are writing at the end? 'Suria ana bahab' - 'I love Syria' and 'enti zhamilaa', something like 'you are everything'? My arabic is not that good, but I was some times in Lebanon....

I'd like to go to Lebanon too and I even have a friend there, but there is a problem with obtaining visa for a young single woman, discrimination as you can see(((
Actually I don't speak arabic at all - it is all greek too me-) so as I know it should mean I love you, but i'm not sure)))

Yes, I know, the Lebanese government is refusing young single women from certain countries, it is because in the past there came too many and not as a tourist, but for working, often in the prostitution. Now have the Lebanese in general no direct problems with prostitution, but there was no balance anymore at all. But sure, for many people like you who just want to visit countries and meeting friends, it's a pity and unfair. It's anyway unfair that it depends on your passport and what's written in there if you have to obtain for a visa or not, or don't get a visa at all...
'I love you' in arabic - at least in Lebanon, but I guess in Syria & Jordan as well is 'ana behebak' (to a boy) and 'ana behebik' (to a girl).

you're right, yesterday in damascus i've seen a lot of russian whores near most expensive clubs and hotels. i think there should be more of them in lebanon, because the country is better off. and today I had a flight back with a girl who worked as a prostitute for a long time in syria and now the authorities deported her back home. quite a sad story of her life...
