My first post! ~baby snakes~

Finally, I've decided to make a post...of my baby snakes! The first is Tierra, a Mexican black kingsnake. The second is Sienna, a gopher snake. Tierra's really calm and Sienna has an attitude. She's fine if you pick her up, but if you reach for her in her cage and hesitate she gets in strike position...and sometimes follows through! Luckily ( Read more... )

I'm actually not a big fan of snakes, I kinda like the ones with light colors, but the black one you've got in there is just... I dont know but I went nuts when I see it o___o it looks like... plastic, like a toy or something like that o__ó

I did like the last one x.x

LOL, the black one is named Tierra, and she's super nice and calm. I actually have 6 snakes and will eventually post pics of the rest of them, some have light colors...one is bright blue and black stripes~

but I guess you release them once they get to a certain size o_O ne?
I love to see the bright blue one, I checked the new babies you have and they're cool

Release?? No, these are pets..they were born and raised in captivity from captive bred parents...if they were released they would probably die. They do not know how to hunt for food, and are used to a constant temperature (they need heaters) so they might freeze here! Also, most of my snakes are not from this area, or even this country.. so it would be illegal to release them as it could cause problems for local wildlife if they did survive.
I'll post some pics of the blue one when I have a chance~ I have them somewhere
