You've only seen about half of them. Let's see… there's the robotic fish (real), the phone-with-keyboard (real), the digital, preprogrammed salesperson (real) and the phone-sized-computer-with-stand-and-keyboard (fake).
It does seem an awful lot. I'm taking this as meaning I'm on the right track.
Well, yes, of course it bothers me, but I'm amused by it at the same time, if that makes sense. ;) I obviously didn't come up with the idea first, since it takes how long to build and develop something, but I still feel a little bit of ownership and a little bit of worry that I won't be "original enough" when I do send the book out. But I've also been taking a lot of current technology, putting it together in different ways, making it do different things, and that goes for the aforementioned inventions as well, since they're not exactly like what's currently out there. Just close. ^^
