Perhaps you should try socialogy instead?

I hate sociology. It's more the study of people than a person, where as I like to get inside one person's head and finding out all thier little kinks and shifts.

If you haven't had any experience with pyschology, your doomed to take the py101 with the tards, same with sociology. My suggestion would be to try out py101, if you like it you can go further, if not it will count as a social/behavioral core class. If you want some advice, you can ask me sometime since I'm double minoring in sociology/psychology, Doc.Jimmy is just as a good source to ask also.

If you don't like the "helping people deal with their problems" part, don't go into clinical psychology. There is the more pure side, which would be the more theoretical side of the subject.

PY 101 sucks, but it's the prereq for all all other psychology classes... I just suggest you try to get an actual professor if at all possible, since the grad students who teach 101 have been known to be somewhat incompetent and uninteresting, and are mostly the ones going into clinical.
