Hi, I've just finished reading 52 and wanted to read more on Renee and her as the Question. I have final crisis, final crisis revelations, the crime bible mini, i'm in the process of getting Gotham Central and I also have all of the Detective comics (although i haven't read them yet!)that she's the second feature in ( Read more... )

Glad to have you on board! You have pretty much everything that Renee's in as the Question; she's also in Detective Comics Annual #11 and the recent Question #37 Blackest Night special (which is INCREDIBLY AWESOME, especially if you'd like a taste of the author and artist of the old Question series).

As for pre-Question stuff, there's a lot of it. Luckily, some poor sod enterprising person has compiled a Renee Montoyagraphy! I'm still working my way through all of those, but I'd recommend the Gotham Girls miniseries (and season 3 of the awesome Flash animation) and No Man's Land volumes 2-4, which explains how Two-Face got involved with Renee, anyway. And, if you haven't seen it, Batman: The Animated Series is an amazing show, so the episodes with Renee are highly recommended. Hope that helps!

Thanks for replying, i seem to be doing pretty well, i got the annual when it came out (she's on the cover!! :) ) and got question 37 yesterday :) i'm trying to read them in order so i haven't read them yet! :(

thank goodness for poor sods enterprising people for doing lists like that! what would we do otherwise? i got a list off of wikipedia (i think it was!) and was trying to get through them (thank god for ebay) now i have even more to look for :)

i read No Mans land when it came out so can't quite remember all of what happened, i may have to have a search to see if i can find them again! and i think the gotham girls flash animation was on the catwoman dvd so i'll get that out too! AND i have the first couple of seasons of batman:TAs. oh it's going to be a busy weekend :D haha!

and as for Chiana, she is frelling awesome :D better than Harvey easily ;)
