So why's the Lisbon Treaty bad for Ireland?

The Wikipedia article was vague, and Google only produced an article containing such wisdom as, "Hitler would have liked the Lisbon Treaty." I can't find any reasonable, relevant information on it. So what's wrong with it?

It's bad for everyone but Brussels and the richer countries in the EU. If Ireland went ahead with a yes vote, it would mean that our laws become secondary in importance to European laws, that we have less of a say in the running of the EU than we do now, Brussels could hit us with any taxes they could come up with and we wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Our health care system would be disbanded to make way for privatization of the health industry, and we can all see from over here how that has worked in America - in other words, care for those who can afford it, and ignore those who can't ( ... )
