This has been the first Christmas I can remember where I haven't recieved any books. I think my relatives think I'm shallow/stupid! So I'm jealous of your haul...

My favourite gifts were my slippers and blanket, and I spent the day in a rather similar fashion to you- with friends and family!

i love e.e. cummings!
He has some amazing poetry. I love how at first when you read one of his poems, it doesn't seem to make any sense at all, (its just beautiful) then when you read it again you realize every word had a specific purpose.
