I think anyone would be more amazed by the fact you can control the sun, than angry about how you use it. And this second stanza...greatness lies far when fallen away, can be taken a bunch of different ways. What definition of lie are you using? Greatness has fallen away, and how you picture it in your mind might not be how it really was. From the distance it's at, the lies that greatness told you still resonate within you, they still reach you and touch you. And you are pissed, with all this heavenly rage pointed at the giver of mistruth. I know i know...this is way off. but a poem isn't to be defined...a poem is constantly morphing for whoever is reading it next...and this is my version and ya can't do nuthin about that! SMM

I completely agree.. my favorite part about writing would be that when I come up with something I let it be so ambiguous on purpose knowing when people read it some will see the double meaning, some will see it one way, and some will another. SO there isn't a concrete theme here to the naked audience, but if you want my opinion there would be.
