I'd have to say that you've managed to write down pretty much exactly what I've always felt about the Vermont trip scene... but have never been able to properly articulate. I am very anxious to see how you have it all work out going forward.

I'm so glad!

I was only able to write this because of a very long in-depth conversation I've been having with other fans about this particular episode. (If you're curious, you can find it on the most recent post to my discussion about Brian, which you can find here on my LJ.) I kept trying to explain my thoughts and was becoming more and more annoyed with myself that I just wasn't able to say what I mean, so that's when I decided to write this story. It's much easier for me to explain things from a story-teller's POV, especially when things are so darn complex! I'm very pleased that this story works for you. Thank you so much for commenting :)
