That's a really interesting premise, focusing in on the non-superpowered characters in a superhero fandom. And then there's the reflection between being queer and being superpowered, therefore in both cases not what society thinks you should be.

Intriguing! If I were in that fandom I'd absolutely click through that summary to read the story.
