Michael wasn't exactly thrilled with the conditions either, but he had to just be away from people. He was glad Brian had come with him...if only thing so he remembered to eat and things like that instead of staring off in the space.
As it was, he'd taken to just laying on his back, hands behind his head as he looked up at the darkening sky. "Guy doesn't love me anymore." He said softly, yet matter a factly, like it was obvious.
Brian rolled his eyes at that. Christ. "When are you going to learn, Mikey?" he asked softly, looking irritated. Guy was a fucking idiot, but Mikey wasn't much better for believing that he could be happy like that, for believing that 'love' and 'relationships' were meant for fags. They were men. They fucked. Prettying it up didn't change that fact.
He shrugged from where he lay. "Never. I'll always try and I'll always not find it." He said dejectedly. Was it even worth trying with Ben if it just set him up for this heartbreak again?
Brian sighed, because it was probably true. No matter how many times he tried to convince Mikey not to bother, he'd keep looking for that "special someone". "See, this is why I've stopped fucking Roger," he announced impatiently. "If he wants to play boyfriends that's his call, but I've been there, done that." And Justin had disappeared.
