I think that if you go with Cataclysmic then you could hit the same issues as Intercon with Heaven and Hell.

Cataclysmic will suggest a theme for the games that you don't necessarily want, playing one game where the end of the world is nigh would be fun, seeing a game in every slot that looks like it would default to some form of Cataclysm less so.

Though I could just be feeling hungover and pessimistic this morning.

That is exactly my problem with it, I don't want a whole slew of Disaster! Meteor! type of things which is why I was aiming for curious, but we're having a problem trying to find any artwork to associate with it.

I like curious - I also like the schroedingers box idea. Curiosity did do for the feline. Alternatively there's the Wonderland option, with the cheshire one. What about a box labled as above, but inside is dark except for two eyes.

I feel both Chilling and Cataclysmic are too "strong" ie. the names suggest there will be a theme, even if there isn't really. Curious is much better from that pov. (Although I don't have any helpful artwork ideas atm, sorry.)
