[this young woman is still in her white shift, but in her arms is one of the poofiest white dresses ever. All those accessories in the icon--earrings, crown, etc. are piled carefully on top of it. Her hair is down around her shoulders, and her wide slit-pupiled eyes peer at the mirror closely.]

[yes, those are cat ears.]

Oh--there's someone there? What kind of Force is this...?

[Reno isn't looking through the mirror, but coincidentally messing around nearby. The sound of the voice gets her attention, and she ambles over, coming up on the woman from behind.] Hey.

[She blinks.] Whoa, what's with those ears?

[persical]

[she looks up, a little startled at being approached from behind, but she doesn't seem to take offense.]

What do you mean? They're...is something wrong with them?

[she feels so odd asking it. Of course there is something wrong--they're not hers. The whole body isn't hers, but only someone she knows would realize that.]

[Then she sees the eyes. Green cat eyes. She jumps back, almost knocking into a tree in the process. The reaction is more instinctive than anything else. She's had some bad experiences with people who have eyes like that lately.

Okay, Reno, relax. Sephiroth doesn't have cute kitty ears, so maybe it's not a monster, just a--cat person? She tries to act natural, way too late for it to actually work.]

Thank you, I suppose...? [she shakes her head a bit. This woman doesn't seem hostile, just a little odd.]

Huma and Gajuma, the two races of Callegea. I've never met someone who didn't know before...where are you from?

[she'd heard of Gajuma-only villages, so there must be Huma-only ones. But to never even have heard of a Gajuma?]

I'm originally from Midgar, but then it got blown up, so now I live in Edge, which is on the edge of the old city, and that's why they named it Edge.

I never heard of Cally--that place before. Or any of those things. We just have regular people where I'm from. Well--some are more regular than others.
