What a fool I was. Meredith is clearly a genius. Her phone calls, dismissed at the time as mere nuisance, make perfect sense now that Russell's Sieve was applied. How blind I was. One may not. But the parking tickets, if accumulated long enough, can actually bend the court system into a vortex of madness - if properly harnessed, this legal flurry could send you across the galaxies.

I suddenly sit here pondering a future society where all the lawyers formed their own official religion, then wandered about the universe sending prophets and missionaries bearing contracts and subpoenas to the uneducated masses, leaving nothing but interplanetary wars over semantics in their wake.
