She woke up long before she opened her eyes or made any attempt at moving. Italy wanted to curl into a ball and ignore the cold and wind for as long as she could. It was too cold for morning; it was never this way back home unless something was wrong. Was something wrong?
She forced herself to sit up, her muscles a little stiff. She wanted to curl back into her ball but who was this? "Germany?"
It was comforting to know Germany was there, she was good at handling problems right?
Italy was quick to do just that, rubbing her hands together once she was in the sleeping bag. It was pretty big, which was a good thing, but after a look around the room she frowned.
Was that all there was? The stone building was small and it didn't seem to have very much in it. "I don't remember being here."
Germany shivered and sat down on the floor, trying to peer out through the crack under the door to see how bad the snow looked. There was only one sleeping bag, and it made more sense to go to Italy, as she was more used to the cold. The possibility of sharing it crossed her mind, but it was an embarrassing thing to ask.

"Get in the sleeping bag," she instructed without turning around. "There's been a storm and we're snowed in. We might be here for a while."
