Amamiya had already suffered the mistletoe's effects, and so was wise to its tricks. That was why, when she saw Katina poking at it, she felt obligate to warn her.

"You may want to step away from that," she said, calling out her warning from a safe distance.

However, without noticing, she had herself stepped under another mistletoe plant.

She nodded. "Unfortunately, like so many of the Queen's little games, no such luck."

Aaaaand there, she stepped too close and an invisible wall surrounded them. It made no noise, but they;d sure notice it when they tried to go their separate ways.

"Tch. She's good at this." Katina turned away from the sprig she'd been under, walking off. "Well, guess I'll see you arou-oof!"

There was a thump as she walked straight into an invisible wall, staggering back for a moment before falling straight onto her ass. "...ah shit."

Amamiya's eyes immediately and instinctively flew upwards, and...there it was, right in plain sight, mocking her.

"You have got to be kidding me," she said, staring at it.

"Spend all that time talkin' about not getting stuck..." She mutters a few curses under breath as she stands and turns to Amamiya. "Well. Wanna get this done with?"

Amamiya sighed loudly. "I suppose we may as well get it over with."

She didn't move to actually do it, though.

"Do you need to... psyche yourself up first or something?" Amamiya clearly looks less comfortable with this than Katina. "I'm ready when you are."

"I'm fine," she insisted. "Just...kiss me and get it over with, will you?"

Katina nodded, huffed, and walked up to Amamiya. "Here goes nothing." Gently, she reached down to tilt Amamiya's face up towards hers, leaned in, and placed a slow, soft kiss on her lips.

Amamiya didn't resist the tilting motion, and just closed her eyes and let it happen. She didn't kiss back, but her face blushed up. She couldn't say she didn't sorta like it.
