A trip outside had led her down one trail to another, and soon enough, Suruga found her in her own little expedition. She probably should've headed back to her home at that point, but she kept finding herself exploring "just a little bit more." The environment she was seeing now was pretty different than that of The Gardens, and not only that... But there was someone else, and close by.

Could they have been exploring as well?

"Ah, Gal-san. What a surprise. I certainly wasn't expecting to see you here!"

Gal turns, blinking, recognizing the other young woman after a moment.

"Ah--Suruga, right? Well, I haven't gotten out much until now." She lifts a hand to scratch the back of her head a bit awkwardly. Considering their last meeting was when she was a lot smaller...

"It's good to see you, though. I wanted to thank you for looking after me."

"You're welcome. I wasn't about to abandon a child in need, especially one that looked as cute as you. It makes sense, for you to have been cute at such a young age." A brief laugh as Suruga not only noticed the bag over Gal's shoulder, but the sword as well.

"Could it be that you're headed somewhere?" With that sort of gear, it seemed like it was going to be a lengthy trip.

She raises her eyebrows, but doesn't pursue the "cute" comment.

"Well--yeah. You've got me." She laughs. "There's a city down there, if you'd believe it." She gestures to the center of the Pavilion, where the first part of a flight of stairs can be seen, descending out of sight. "You know those fonbots--ah, mechanical creatures you see here and there? Like this girl."

She pats Martha on the head, and the automation lets out a metallic bark.

"I think that's where they come from. There are tons of them down there."
