She is dressed in a child-size version of her usual battle gear, with a smaller copy of the Masamune.
Sephiroth is curious, fearless. She studies the symbols. She watches the dreams that envelop her calmly and analytically, making her way through them. They don't stop her from moving forward, along the path, toward the center.]

[when she sees the child, she hurries to her side, not concerned as much by the faint tang of recognition as by the sight of a child all alone.]
[she smiles, holding out her hand.]
I'll walk with you.
Reply
All right. I can protect you. There are monsters here.
[She nods ahead, down the path.] I'm going to see where it ends.

You're sweet. That's where I'm going, too.
[a small creature pokes its nose out from under her hair, chittering at the child.]
It's all right, Zapie. She's a friend.

That is, until suddenly, the area distorts. The scenery has warped into nothing but a mix of bright and dark colors swirling about, there are loose train wheels rolling around, the air is filled with visible music notes....and Sayaka has transformed into this. Horrified, Kyoko jumps up and begins dodging the wheels and other projectiles that the monster that used to be Sayaka is firing at her.]
Sayaka! No! Not again! We...we were finally happy here! Please!
[A single tear streams down her face. The monster doesn't listen, but continues her attack.]
No...
[Kyoko steels herself however, and activates her Soul Gem, changing into her battle gear and wielding her spear. At first she aims to incapacitate rather than to kill, but that proves to be futile. She fights on and on, finally giving into the reality; she has to kill this monster. She has to kill ( ... )

Which doesn't necessarily mean she doesn't sympathize with what is going on. ]
Sucks, doesn't it? Being alone.

We were finally together again! Everything was happy here! So why did this happen again?!

What's the 'why' matter? If you're going to cry about that and not even think about the 'what' you're going to do, then you're just a kid.

Once one realizes that, it shouldn't be too hard to realize the person is dead. ]
If you had brought me, then it wouldn't have turned out this way.

[the air is strangely cold, however, and her breath begins to cloud the air in puffs. Snow is falling, nearly indistinguishable from the flower petals. She looks up, finally sensing something is wrong.]
[the little ball of fur scurries off, making a high-pitched keening noise, and she starts after it.]
Zapie? Zapie!
[she hikes up her skirts, hurrying through the flowers, scattering snow and petals in her wake. There's a figure standing at the edge of the field, tall, pale hair in a long braid down his back. When she calls to him, he doesn't answer, just takes a step forward and vanishes.]
[she barely hesitates, and plunges after him into the darkness.]

[This horrible sensation stops abruptly, and now you are suddenly in a small house. To those who have been here for a while, it's the same type of structure that housed two people during that long and blistering blizzard.
But the snow outside is now replaced by a torrent of what looks like orange rain, if you were to look outside, and your bunkmate is Hikari. She's huddled in the corner, her hair down and very silent for once.]

Hi...Hikari? Is that you?

... Yeah.

What's wrong? Are you hurt anywhere?
