Venezia is pretty much just happening by, mostly. She's great at ruining moments and, not noticing the special atmosphere, has no problem with doing it now.

She trots over to stand behind the girl, peeking at whatever she might be holding to the sky without saying anything. Is she trying to make it rain?

The trouble with really focusing on something like magic is that it was really easy not to notice someone coming up behind you. Reaching out to gently take hold of the magic inside the key, Lucy swished the enchanted focus through the motions meant to signal that it was time for it to fulfill its task.

"OPEN GATE TO THE-Gah!"

Right in mid swing Lucy managed to nearly clip Venezia, causing the summoner to let out a yelp of surprise as she hopped backwards away from the unexpected woman. Arms windmilling, she managed to crash into the reeds by the lakeside.

"Gah-?" She touched her head, as if to check if everything is where it should be. It didn't hurt but she hadn't expected her to swing around so suddenly, okay! She frowned, as she would probably cause a bit of a fuss by now but-

Oh. Her fuss and bustle died down, for now. Peering down, Venezia offered a hesitant hand. Will she spazz out again? "Um. Are you okay?"

Lucy looked up at the girl's extended hand, too embarrassed and flustered to really complain about being snuck up on. For a moment her chest heaved as she tried to catch her breath, before she seemed to deflate with a groan, letting her head fall back against the reeds as her hair spread out around her.

"Yes, I'm fine. I thought I was over being so jumpy. Sorry, I should have been paying more attention. I didn't hurt you did I?"

In all honesty, Axel's eye is caught for two reasons: plain ol' curiosity and the sight of those keys. Keen enough to realize something is going on, she finds a tree to lean against a good distance (she hopes) away from the action and decides to watch.

Could be interesting, after al.

The show very likely did not disappoint, as with a cry of "Virgo!" Lucy unleashed her magic to break through the walls that divide time and space, causing sky around her to darken as it filled with swirling runes, signals, and stars forming the constellation of the Virgin. It was a brief cacophony of light and sound, but over it all could be heard the sound of a door opening, and in a flash of light, there stood a woman before Lucy who had not been there just a moment before.

"Yeah! It worked, it worked! Virgo, you heard me! Haha, that's the great power of Lucy Hearphilia, number one Celestial Spirit Mage!" Apparently the sight of the solemn looking pink haired woman, dressed in the manner of a french maid with shackles about her wrists, was cause for celebration from Lucy, even as she flung herself forward to hug the spirit.

Virgo, without the slightest change of expression, simply said, "Yes mistress. Am I to be punished?"

"My oh my, punishing a woman in a french maid outfit? How naughty. Should I leave?"

Really, she's just teasing. How can she help it? The situation is just nice and set up for her. It would be a waste not to say something like that.

Despite not being as much of a brawler as some of her friends, Lucy was still in excellent physical shape, and she demonstrated that fact by leaping at least a half a foot into the air when an unexpected third voice joined the conversation.

Virgo, meanwhile, remained completely nonplussed.

Twisting so fast she almost made herself dizzy, the mage waved her hands frantically between herself and the redheaded woman. "I-i-it's nothing like that! I don't have any say in how she dresses, and I have no idea why she talks like that!"

"Actually Princess, I take my form based upon the wishes of-"

"Not the time!"
