Hanging onto the lacy device just in case, Souji pauses just inside the border to wait for everyone else who had wanted to come along. There is definitely safety in numbers if the phantoms are still around.

And maybe, just maybe, she might find out that Fate-mama was still here somewhere.

She nods to Vivio. "I'm happy that you'll be by our side."

"Have you yourself been visited by any of the phantoms?" She had not asked Loly previously, as the question was something of a personal one, and Sephiroth did not like to pry, but now the need was more immediate. "They can be disorienting at first."

A group of women caught her eye, two familiar. Miss Sephiroth and Loly...perhaps they would allow her to join them if their aims matched up. Giving a small wave, she drew closer. "Are you also planning to see what might be found here?"

But her anger is counterbalanced by the fact that she would rather feel secure in her home, without the threat of those phantoms appearing every few hours. "Did you have any trouble on your way here?" Trouble with the phantoms is what she means; she knows they're more prevalent out here on the fringes of the Gardens. [Finally, getting sick of the sand and sun in her face, she unravels a portion of her body and weaves it into a hood and face-wrap, shielding herself. It also kind of cut down on her peripheral vision, so she didn't see Mi-Na there until she practically stumbled over her.]

[Jolyne manages to narrowly avoid falling over completely, settling instead for a brief slide down the dune. She peers around and finally spots Mi-Na. She hold up her hands apologetically.]
My bad! Hard to see with this thing on.
