Perhaps Some Tea?

Summary: While things outside are getting crazy, let's sit back and have some tea.

After a week of not-quite marriage and taking a few hours to recover alone over some run

Grell has been experimenting, trying to pinpoint what exactly makes her own tea so wretched and undrinkable to everyone but her, trying and failing for lack of a victim assistant. She does have to admit the tea the birds bring is superior to hers, though, and through this stubborn, reluctant realization, she has been drinking tea and reading poetry. If nothing else, she can make herself feel like a gentlewoman.

She hears Zenobia's voice and sets aside the book and cup, smiling brightly as she goes to find her. Although she's missed her somewhat, the idea of a week of marriage was just too adorable to protest to.

"Welcome back."

"Oh, Miss Grell!" Zenobia's face lights up as she sees her lovely landlady. "Thank you. It's so good to be back."

"You were missed." She sees no reason not to express the sentiment. "Would you like to come and have some tea with me, since you're back? I already have some made."

Zenobia is so happy to hear that. This is one of the perks to having a home you share with others. People think about you and your well-being. "I would love to have tea with you."
