[ Madoka had been settling in as well as she could under the circumstances she, and everyone else were currently in at this place. Though, it truly was a drastic change from her living situation--then again, ever since she had met Kyuubey and Homura, her life had been anything but normal to begin with.
... Though, one of the things that was perhaps most odd was not only living with Homura, but the 'different' Homura. In the end, she knows that this is still her friend--the same Homura that was distant and cold at times towards both her and the others.
Blinking a bit, she sits next to Homura, keeping silent for a second. .... She wanted to look around a little, admittedly--but she wasn't too fond of going alone. After all.... this was still an entirely new world to her. ]
[It's a little different to be living with someone after living alone for quite a while. Even though it's been some time, Homura still occasionally falls into old mental habits that came from her previous lifestyle of living alone. Habits like assuming that no one else would be around, lulling herself into an inattentive state.
Engrossed in her reading, Homura doesn't exactly register Madoka's presence next to her immediately. That is, not until she suddenly looks up and realizes her friend was next to her. She's not quite startled but still a little surprised.]
[ It was a little awkward--getting used to how different Homura actually was. Pausing, she draws back a little at first, smile somewhat nervous. ] Uhm... Good afternoon, Homura-chan--
