[Pats her on the head.] It looks delicious, chèrie, don't worry! The rest is all American food, so it's good you brought so much. [God know they don't want to eat America's food all night.]

[Guess who's dressed up! She even brushed her hair and has shoes on. She's also carrying a leather sack with what may or may not be beer inside.]

[ Looking her up and down. ]

A spaceship! Hey, you're all, like... fancy-looking! This is only a sleepover, y'know.

[Jolyne wasn't really sure how she'd gotten roped into this party after talking all kinds of shit about it over the Vine. That girl who was organizing it was just pretty forceful...and it's not like she had anything better to do tonight]

[She's piling up her plate with various tasty-looking things from the food table]

[It was always better to be late than never showing up at all, right? But it's not like Alice pondered for a good long while wondering whether she should go or not, she just had some things to do first. She saw the invitation, and it would have been rude not to show up of course.

It's most certainly not because she was feeling lonely and figured a bunch of people together might help with that.

Even so, she's still just standing around, not entirely sure of several things. Namely...]

[And guess who else is just standing around, looking vaguely awkward and apparently turning up unannounced to answer questions not addressed to her? That's right, it's our resident fail!ninja Rin. Hoorah.]

[Alice had barely a reaction to the person answering. She had sadly gotten very used to people showing up suddenly and out of nowhere.]

It said it would be at a space ship. But I can't say I know what one is. I only just guessed since there were a bunch of people around.

Mm. Same. But I think if I knew what a space ship was, I'd expect it to look kind of like that. Even if it's not very... boat-y.

[she's wearing a hooded sweatshirt instead of the usual cloak, sitting with a plate of food on her lap. You can't see her face too well, but from her body language she seems pretty overwhelmed by all the people.]

I didn't know there would be so many...

[After (presumably) grabbing multiple plates from Italy's one-woman potluck dinner, Souji finds herself gravitating toward the edge of the party as well. She likes people, just not really...exuberantly. Sitting a respectful distance from Xion while eating, she overhears her comment.]

[she glances over at the other girl, silent for a moment, not expecting to be addressed. When she does speak, her voice is soft and hesitant--a little hard to hear over the noise.]

Not...exactly. The people I'm used to were quiet most of the time...

[Souji instinctively leans a little closer to hear, nodding earnestly. She kind of wonders what being around quiet people is like.]
