[Any ladies who check the vine today are greeted to a new face. She's wearing the default white shift, although she's carrying other clothing in her arms and has put a hat and rose-lensed white glasses on top of her head. The first thing she does when the video begins is gasp dramatically.]

I think when you have to use "I asked the cat how I can get home" in a sentence, science has gone "poom" just a little bit.

Yeah, I do that when I have to, but I try not to when I can. I mean, I love cats and all, but the whole scrolls thing still weirds me out. Plus there's the fact that they're the Queen's cats, so... Yeah. [Brief rolling of the eyes at the mention of the Queen.]

Anyway, uh, kinda hard to say. I think I lost a couple days in there somewhere. Rough estimate, about nine or ten? Way too long, either way.

Have you met this Queen lady? It seems pretty rude to just dump us here with nothing but cats and a letter.

And how did you lose days? Did something happen to you?

Yeah, I went out exploring too far outside the Gardens. Guess the Queen doesn't like that. I got attacked by some killer plant life, and the next thing I know, I was being dragged back her by a wolf of all things. Found out from a cat later that it was two days later than when I'd left.

[Short sigh of frustration with her circumstances.]

Anyway, she answered me once over the Vine, and it was just to say not to bitch at her. Other than that, no, I haven't met her.

I've talked to a whole bunch of people--including a lady who said she was Death. And I've seen the cats and a fox and a bear.

The bear showed up when I was talking about dissecting the Vine. Apparently, they didn't like that idea.

I've met Death too, and, uh, America. Like the country. [Eyeroll.] Apparently. Still don't know what to think about that. Death seems a little more together than America, anyway. I can kinda actually believe her, the way she talks and such.

I don't now what to think about Death. Something about the way she is... it's kind of hard not to believe her, somehow.

Oh, and apparently there are vampires here, too. This place is weird!!

I think it's gonna take some more talking to her to figure out what her deal is. I'll let you know if I ever get to a conclusion on that front.

And eugh, yeah, I ran into one of those little girl vampires coming back from that lake thing. Creepily cheerful little thing. [Shivers.]
