Well, I certainly see no reason why I should cease in my research merely because I've been abducted! Particularly if I have the necessary particulars and the freedom to use them.

Sure, but why work for your captors? Just do your research on the effect the plant has on the garden or something.

Before it'll go bad, we have the incarnae. They can sort out their own mess. At worst, they'll have to beg us to help em. We can do it then. Don't see any reason to lift em a finger before that point.
