[She's shaken out of Reno's dream in a sudden jolt, and the quiet tranquility of this new scene makes her curious. She catches sight of the two girls, eventually, and what she sees only surprises her for a moment. It's sweetly innocent, she thinks, and cute.

She doesn't interrupt, instead choosing to rest underneath the shade of a tree. Homura will notice her soon enough, she imagines.]

[A few minutes pass with a light conversation between the young couple, but before too long, Homura is to her feet, first examining the tree she's under, and then looking at the trees nearby. One of them surely has to have a papaya, and the girl starts heading across the meadow in order to retrieve one for Madoka.

She doesn't notice the woman as she approaches quietly, her eyes more on the branches of the tree than who might be a little out of the way in the shade.]

[Fang doesn't pipe up until Homura gets close. It's hard to see her expression, hidden as she is by the shade of the tree, but the smile can be heard in her voice.]

Hey there, smooth talker. On a date?

[Having spotted a low-hanging papaya, Homura had just grabbed ahold of it when the woman spoke up.

The fruit quickly falls out of her hand and into the grass below in her surprise.]

Eh?! W-Who?

[brands]

[Fang's unconcerned (or alternatively, amused) by Homura's surprise, and pipes up again.]

It's Fang, kid.

Oh... [Well at least it isn't an unfamiliar person she now sees in the shade, but she's obviously a bit nervous.]

G-Good day...Fang-san...

[brands]

G'day, Homura. [She waits a second...and then:] So are you on a date or not? I can make myself scarce, unless you want some pointers.

[heartovertime]

[The girl blushes a bit and only responds after a short moment has passed.] Y-Yes, I guess that's right...

[But the offer... It's pretty true she doesn't really know what exactly to do.] ....What kind of pointers?

[brands]

[Fang glances up at the sunlight filtering through the leaves of the tree, and motions for Homura to sit next to her.] Date pointers, kid. You wanna impress your girlfriend, don'tcha?

...I guess so...

[She hesitantly takes a seat.]

[For all of Fang's confidence, it's been a while since she's done something like this. It has been lifetimes ago, but she still remembers enough to go on.]

First, you've got to relax, all right? You got her on the date already; that's the hard part. Chances are, she's not gonna be sore at you if things don't go perfect. And she likes you already, right?

[heartovertime]

...Yes. [Actually, she had felt unusually relaxed earlier... But now she does feel a little uneasy again.] S-She does...

[brands]

Good job! [...A gentle shoulder punch.] Now, when you're on one of these dates, a girl usually likes when you pay attention to her. You know, ask her what she wants to do and all that bunk. But don't look too eager, all right? Cool and collected is the way to go. If she already likes you, you've got it half in the bag already. No reason to be nervous.

I see... I wouldn't not pay attention to her, though...

[But wait...] Um...does that mean you've dated a girl before, Fang-san?

[brands]

[Fang rolls her shoulders back, crosses one leg over the other.] I have. I've noticed a few people 'round here make a big fuss of it. It wasn't that way back home.

I...I see...

[She relaxes a little.] People think it's weird where I come from...
