I think the closest thing to this that happened before was that time with Echidna...but she claimed responsibility right away. Normally we at least get some kind of clue, if not an outright confession.
Um...do you think that someone is intentionally doing this kind of thing...?

...now that you mention it, I don't have any evidence either way. We've been messed with both on purpose and by accident before.
