[The last thing Mi-na was expecting when she went out to explore the Gardens was to find a familiar face. The familiarity isn't comforting, though, and it doesn't look as though her conversation with the silver-haired, scantily clad woman is going very well at all. Mi-na has fallen into a battle stance, the bladed end of her weapon pointed at Ivy. ( Read more... )

But...

[Mi-na hasn't been paying much attention to the Vine, having been more concerned with getting her bearings and settling in to the Gardens. [That makes her freeze. Was she really so weak, so paralyzed with indecision that she needed someone else to fight her battles for her. Her hands clench again, and before she knows what she's saying, the words come tumbling out of her mouth:]

No way! I don't need anyone to fight my battles for me!

[She launches herself forward, then, letting out a battle cry as she moves. ("Hyaaaa-h!") But the cry soon turns to a sound of confusion, her wol-do sailing through empty air rather than solid flesh as the phantom dissolves into a puff of white smoke.]

Wh-what the-?!
