opus no. 7 [video/action]

[We see Austria tending to her garden outside her new home, business as usual, until suddenly her jaw drops. She's seeing someone who, as far as she knows at least, is long dead. That someone is one of her former queens, Maria Theresa.]

[Msria, however, doesn't seem to be particularly happy to see her.]

You are truly pathetic, Österreich. You ( Read more... )

[she blinks a bit at this]

...I suppose I don't play in public very often. Perhaps I should.

This place could use a concert hall...

[you've got her thinking]

Why don't you make one? If it's public use, I'm sure everyone would love it.

[Perhaps not Prussia, simply on principal, but Canada doesn't need to say that.]

I think I will.

[of course not Prussia. That isn't even a question. In fact, Prussia would probably be blacklisted from the start if Austria felt particularly nasty]

Do you think you'll be able to decide what instruments are in it or will each have to be made individually?

[Canada may "accidentally" invite Prussia in for things, anyway. World peace, yo, it's her passtime. Although taking up the celtic harp again sounds appealing...]

I think making them individually would be best. The craftsmanship of an instrument is a very detailed process, and, even with this being magic, making them in bulk could lead to inferior sound quality.

[though idk if that'd end in peace or in a fight in the middle of the concert hall...but Canada and her harp are always welcome here.]

That's probably the case, yes. Do you think it might be possible for me to request your help in making an instrument or two? I haven't done anything but repairs in a hundred years or so, so I'm sure you're the expert.

I could craft an instrument for you, certainly. What do you play?

A few things, but, umm... I've been missing my harp.

The harp? Yes, I can certainly craft one for you if you'd like.

That would be lovely, really. Just a small one will do. It's a shame to be so out of practice, I'm sure.

Alright, give me a few days and I can have one made. This place needs more ladies with musical talent.

I can't disagree with you there. And I promise I'll put it to good use.

[Canada smiles warmly.]

Would you like tea or coffee to go with your cake?

I'll be right back, then!

[Off she disappears, back to the kitchen. Despite the fact that this isn't her house, she'll still play perfect hostess anyway. She's not entirely certain Austria really has anyone else on her side and Canada hates to think that anyone might feel abandoned or forgotten, especially when they need someone.]
