Standing before her is none other than Riku. A girl, mind you, but still Riku. Sora immediately drops the basket she'd brought along in case she'd decided to pick some fruits,

[Mi-na happens to be out on a walk at the same time, though that's for wholly different reasons. Mostly, she's scouting the area, trying to get her bearings in this new land she's been thrust into. The fact that she stumbles across this scene at all is pure chance.]

[From what she sees, though, she doesn't like the look of what's going on. So, rather than retreat and let the pair be, she approaches, her stride purposeful. Setting a hand on Sora's shoulder as she reaches the cringing girl's side, she grips her weapon tightly with the other and addresses the silver-haired one.]

I don't know what's going on here, but I think you've said enough.

More like I haven't said enough. Her guilt tells me I'm right. It's written all over her face.

[Sora just curls up further, trying to block it out. Because it's not just Riku that hurts, it's the reminder of that night and how helpless she was with everything--how in denial she was that Riku had changed.]

[Her voice isn't as strong as it would be, Spears has twisted something in her that she cannot shake off or pretend isn't there, but Sora...Sora didn't deserve this.]

[Why is she being accused of that? Yes, she hesitated. She hesitated because she didn't know where she stood with Riku. What was Riku even talking about?]

[Xion is out and about as well, glad that Sora is feeling better after the ocean fiasco. A raised voice draws her attention, though, and she turns and heads in that direction, curious. And always on the alert for people who might need help.]
