[Have a very angry looking female in full, if a bit battered in spots, armor.  She's practically growling the words out, having let the Meta's taunting fester for a little too long as it is]

I know you people said this place is supposed to be peaceful. I'm already not seeing it. Especially with the Meta here.

The Meta. It came from the same place I did, though the one I knew was male. It is a murderer, a stealer of AIs, and highly dangerous.

I hear that those that kill are punished. So it might not be a good idea. And I've also heard that people don't stay dead here either. So... it's almost pointless.

It'd be satisfying...

That thing betrayed me.

Just wanted to let you know the rules ahead of time. Man, whatever this thing is, it must be pretty terrible, huh? Wait, the Meta? There was someone on the vine writing who used that moniker.

The Meta lost its voice in a training mission. Bullet to the throat.

With the who? D'you mean the one in the white armor?

I can give you two good reasons: One, you get stuck in the Labyrinth in the dark with just messed-up hallucinations for company. Two, anyone you kill is going to come back anyway.

Yes. The traitor. She'd do anything for an AI, including turn on her partner.

It'd be worth it to make her pay.

Well, OK, if you want to take the risk... [Jessica thinks this is a crazy idea.]

If something isn't done, the Meta's likely to hurt people.

What the hell are you going on about?

A monster that came from the same place that I did. Only the gender is wrong.

Everything else is what I remembered...

You're a little intense, aren't you?

Like the others have said, you'll get a nasty trip in the Labyrinth and your friend'll come back regardless. It's up to you to waste your time, I guess.

If you wind up killing her, keep it off the network. You'll spook the kids.

[Ignoring that first comment]

The Meta is not my friend. It was my partner before it betrayed the project.

And trust me, I'm not putting it where it'll be seen, not with the bleeding hearts here.

There's no need to resort to violence. The Queen doesn't allow killing. Those who harm others are punished, and those who have been harmed are restored.

If you're worried about someone in particular, there are others who can help you deal with the problem.

There is no nonviolent way to deal with that beast.

She betrayed me for a chance at an AI.

I spoke to her. She did not seem violent, but I know that appearances can be deceptive.

This place is different, with different rules. I believe people's powers are reduced here sometimes, or altered. You could find an alternative that might not have existed in your world.

[The use of the term AI seems a little different from the meaning she's familiar with.] What do you mean by a chance at an AI?

You have no idea.

Maybe. But I don't think the alternatives would feel as good as killing that thing for what it has done.

Her armor is capable of hosting an AI unit, same as mine. She turned on me for the chance at forcibly implanting one of two AIs we had been following. Texas and Epsilon. Though we hadn't realized Texas was still alive until we were attacked.
