[The Vine blooms, and the Mirror focuses first on Fang's arms, crossed over her chest. There's a slight noise, and a familiar, Australian-accented voice pipes up:] Watch it. My eyes are up here. [The Mirror moves, and Fang's face is revealed. She tilts her head to one side.]
Either this is one powerful hallucination, or I'm stuck here again. [She

I haven't encountered your other friends yet, but if I do see them, I'll be sure to tell them you're looking for them.

Thanks. I'm not sure if they're still here or not, but it'd be just like Light to fly off the handle when she noticed me and Vanille were gone. She might be wandering around with Serah and Hope.

I haven't seen them on the Vine or anywhere in the Gardens since you left. It's possible you all returned home at the same time, though I'm not sure. I imagine they would have asked on the Vine for you, if you'd disappeared first, but they didn't.

That may be so. Hope they're still around and kicking, but if not they might just be a bit slow with showing up here again. It's happened before. All the same, thanks for your answer.

Dunno if I've seen any of your friends, though. There's a lot of people here with crazy fuckin' hair. I'll keep an eye out.

[She frowns, glances up to the sky. That's two people who haven't seen them now...] Thanks, I appreciate it. Vanille will too.

True enough. [a...pause. Should she correct her, about Vanille? A brief, moral dilemma!
...But whatever, it's technically not a lie. She and Vanille are friends. Vanille happens to be a girl, so...] It is a relief to have Vanille here. I'd be going stir crazy, otherwise.

( So lovely to see you again! Are you well? Goodness, and your hair is lovely as ever!
.... :| )
Haven't seen those friends of yours, either. Sadly. ( Why doesn't she sound sincere? )

( Her eyebrow arches, and she shifts a little. A little annoyed - rather like a petulant child, despite the unconcerned shrug. ) My name's Ellie, not kid.
You really went home for a bit?

[That gets an eyebrow arch in return, and she pokes the Mirror. It's pretty much a guarantee that, were she in front of Ellie, she'd be poking her instead.] An old lady like me, you can't expect me to remember every kid's name that I talk to. There are a lot of you running around here. But Ellie it is.
That's right. It was the same as I left it.

Um, welcome back...

Hey there, sweetheart! You haven't gotten into any trouble since I've been gone, have you?

[She taps her chin, her expression thoughtful.] I didn't catch your name the last time we talked, but you can call me Fang.
