[ Luckily (or unluckily?), Marisa has the introduction to danmaku spiel memorised already. There's still a surprising amount of people in Gensokyo who don't know the spellcard rules. ]

It's how we fight and resolve things. We take turns to cast a specific spell, and it has a time limit, but it's much more powerful. The spell typically displays itself in bullet and laser patterns.

What's more important is how beautiful the patterns are, not necessarily how strong it is. It's a very mental thing.
