Huh. I... Huh.

That's right - the dream has sets and scenes, but not places.

...Huh.

What? What're you talking about? Aren't sets places you go? But wait... what would be the world like without sets and scenes?

[Deimonea is trying to consider the mind-boggling implications. Several different scenarios play out in her head.]

A question. How are places connected to each other? Are there portals I've missing, paths I should be using, some kind of... Or are the places all stuck together next to each other?

Places are separated by space, not theme. They're adjacent to each other physically.

I remember how much we had to adjust to navigation by significance. Interesting to see it from the other side.

However, she was quickly pushed aside by England, wearing a rather sexy bunny outfit. "No, it's my turn! Big sister France, please..."

France smiled contently and was just about to suggest a compromise when suddenly something strange swept into the dream, England and America vanishing before her, leaving her alone in darkness as the nightmare began instead...]

[The passing of time could be felt, years and decades flying by. France felt herself diminishing with the years. And then it stopped, but somehow France feels far smaller. Not her human body, but the lands that made up her.]

[Her borders are shrinking she can feel them, Germany and Belgium getting closer and closer to her heart, her southern towns vanishing into Spain, even the Channel seems to be widening, it's banks overflowing as far as the streets of Calais...

France shudders in her sleep and rolls over onto her side, bringing her knees up to her chest and wincing lightly.]

Sorry for the late tag! Was having trouble braining lately. phobophage March 9 2011, 01:50:40 UTC
[Something was noticeably absent to France's own ear. The familiar, comfortable words of her own language. The closest she looked, the more she could see that her people was her people in name alone.]
