A couple of cards here. :) I re-made the first one for my Grandma's B-day since I wasn't too happy with how the first turned out. The second I really enjoyed making and like how it turned out.
Ohh, I like the first one. :D It looks like something I would do, sans butter fly and lace bow/ribbon. I would have maybe patterned a vine of flower stamp across the bottom instead, or wrapped it with a silk ribbon... Super cute cards! I'm waiting with baited anticipation to see some winter themed ones from you!!!
I never understood why people get all uppity and start unfriending when you talk about day to day things. It's a *journal* you're supposed to talk about your life. lol If your life was a drama and action packed movie that was super interesting to read every day....that would be a horrible way to live. lol
Considering that almost every adult human ends up living a life far more prosaic than they may have imagined living as children (particularly in richer countries where theoretical opportunities abound even if they rarely pan out practically) I shouldn't consider it either surprising or boring if the people I associate with - even as ephemerally as only in the context of occasional online chitchat - end up living and writing about prosaic lives.
Certainly the current example of non-boringness that I am currently dealing with (a pregnant friend who is in and out of hospital for blood pressure issues viz. ecclampsia (did I spell that correctly?)) lends no desirability to drama or excitement in one's life.
lol, you have such awesome vocabulary. That said, you are very right.
I am so sorry that your girlfriend is having trouble with her pregnancy! That's a tough one to have and I hope everything goes okay and the baby is okay. I don't pray but I am keeping you in my thoughts. (hug)
Also, I'm assuming that means you are going to be a dad? ^___^
I took a second look at the e-mail I got from LiveJournal telling me you had replied.
I suppose I must have been unclear in what I was saying. Egg on my face! (Better than cat on my head, for you Kids in the Hall fans.)
To the best of my knowledge, my fiancée Leyna is not pregnant. We are probably going to start trying soon, which means she may be a few weeks in by the time we get married in the winter. But unless Leyna's not telling me something, I am currently not expecting fatherhood. O_o
Leyna's best friend (who happens to be someone I've known for a few years) is the one who's been in and out of hopsital for blood pressure. We're hoping she can make it a few more weeks, since every extra day means better chances for the baby and less time in NICU.
I don't find your posts boring by any means. They honestly remind me I am not the only one with a life filled with bad and good days. I hope this makes sense. It just provides a sort of balance that I crave.
Have you noticed that when you sit down to make a card for a certain person that your creativity flourishes? Maybe it's just me, but I try to make each one individual for said individual...Does this make sense? If not don't worry, it's been one of those days and I may be off, or not firing on all cylinders. :)
No that makes totaly sense. I realize I feel the same way but I seem to somehow think everyone else doesn't, lol.
Yeah, you try to make it for their personality and how you see them. It really makes you try harder and it's cool to see something you think they will like. I totally get it.
lol, most of the time, me neither. Sometimes I post about work though because it can be crazy and sometimes I just think 'wow, how the hell is it things happen like this?'
your cards are SUPER COOL. I mean that as a graphic artist. As far as the weight loss goes... one suggestion. Don't weigh daily. Go for weekly or bi-weekly. More perspective that way. Well, thats what I do anyhow. :)

I'm going to do some more winter ones! I just got Christmas stamps and Christmas paper and Christmas brads, lol. So I'm going to be going to town.
It's nice to hear that. Because I like reading people's day to day lives too. I guess some people either don't or we just don't mesh.
lol, and when you put it like that, no that's not a cool way to live. That makes perfect sense.

I know, it's so terrible, you are right. I shouldn't weigh daily. Just on my Saturday weigh in day. I am so obssessive. Oi.
