Hullo! Hope everyone had a good Christmas. We went to three dinners! So I ate too much at each one and probably gained 5 pounds, lol. Can't help it though. All the food was so good ( Read more... )

Someone I know told me when she was training her son with the potty to help with 'aiming' she put Cheerios in the potty and told him to aim at those. It's like a little space blaster game.

Gotta love kids

Have a good new year

I'm not sure if that would work for Aaron or not, lol. He's so stubborn.

Glad to hear you had a "Merry Little Christmas" :)

I need to start working out too. We can be online workout buddies, lol.

All right! Wish it was easier to motivate on-line, lol.

Good job with the getting back to working out. That is my goal this coming week, to start heading to the gym for lunch.

Thanks! I hope to keep it up this time. I keep doing it and then not doing it and... etc. Good luck!

Jordan is finally going more and more on his own. Its been very slow going here and I still can't trust him 100%. I started when we got back from vacation in mid-September and really cracked down on it more and more in the last 2 months. He'll get it eventually. Do you have any potty books you ready to him? Jordan gets a kick out of Once upon a Potty. They even have it on Youtube LOL.

I'm glad you all had a great Christmas!

I don't have any potty books. Maybe I should get some.

Yeah maybe try the library out first to see what he takes to. I think boys in general love books and comments about bodily functions. My older son totally loved that book also. The whole time I'm groaning on the inside about Joshua and his little hole for making poo poo that they kids find so funny LOL.

lol! Kids are great about loving the gross. Aaron is really into books right now too so it would be the perfect time. I didn't even think about books. Thanks!

It sounds like your doing great with the whole potty training thing. That whole knowing to go when you have that feeling is such a big cognitive milestone for a kid... but the best part about it is they will evenually get there. :)

I am also working out and eating better as well. It seems like everyone I know is trying to lose weight. I hope that we will both be successful at it!!

I hope so, lol. Jim is so much better at it than me. But he's home more with Aaron too because I'm sleeping on my work days.

Me too! Here's to getting in shape and weight loss for this year!
