I have been a bad girl about updating lately. I had four days off and Jim is on a two week break from school, so you can guess where I've been. The weather was nice so we did outdoor things and went to watch the new Terminator movie. Actually, I've also seen the Star Trek movie since I last posted. Hahaha! I thought both were really good, but Star ( Read more... )

I'm glad your evaulation went well. You know I used to always get nervous before them even though I couldn't think of anything I may have done wrong and usually always got good reviews.

I'm like you...life feels good right now. I need to take more time for myself and work on my health/diet more.

I read something in a magazine that made sense over the weekend. Someone had been complaining how they didn't really like exercise or watching their diet. Another person responded that they should think of it in another light...that they should be grateful for their body and that they can exercise. If you appreciate what you have then you can look at your body in a different light. Its an interesting way to look at it.

I think it's hard not to get nervous when someone is evaluating your performance, though some people don't.

It seems like that's the hardest part to get on track.

So funny you should say that! Because I thought that and also that I'm doing something for myself by exercising and it was crazy how just those thoughts changed my outlook on it.

I'm pleased but not surprised by your good evaluation - you've always mentioned how hard you've worked to make yourself available to help others when they needed it. But, boy, it sure is good when virtue is rewarded!

Enjoy your camping trip!

Thank you, Jonas. :) It does feel good to get it rewarded, because you don't always and sometimes that can be discouraging.

Well, it didn't work out. We spent the day there but ended up not staying overnight because Aaron just isn't quite ready.
