Ouch that cuts deep. Poor Ezra you can't blame him for being so upset and the others just seem to want him to quiet down. Don't think after all the abandonment and mind games she did throughout his life he's just going to be alright and accepting. Nice chapter, can't wait for more!

Thanks. I was definitely going for a situation where Ezra kinda snaps. After finding out how he did and not being able to find Maude for days, all that anger over how she "raised" him and knowing the truth built up. I don't think there is much of anything Maude is going to do or say that Ezra will be ready to ever forgive her.

Oh me too! I love angry upset Ezra that ain't going to be a pushover just because Maude's a woman (like Josiah and the rest). I don't think he owes her anything, she was a pretty awful mother, lied to him repeatedly, kidnapped him, and she's just mean to him a lot! He shouldn't have to forgive and forget and if the rest try and make him, then they are idiots.
