How comes everyone else seems to read faster than me.
Or in my case reads faster than I can listen to the audio book. One of the things I miss is being able to go to bed with a good book. Stupid hands mean I have to put up with the audio version. grrr
The MS means that I quite often lose the feeling in my hands, with it being replaced by a pins and needles sensation. Holding a book in bed appears to be one of the things that can aggravate it, along with bending my head forward, so I do tend not to read as often as I used to. I truly miss it. I am reading a book at lunch time that a friend brought me for Christmas, one that I can dip in and out of. Everything else I get in audio and put on my ipod. I ipod goes everywhere with me.
oh, that does suck! but at least you still get the stories. do they do voices? i've only ever listened to one book - and it was on tape, so that's how long ago it was. that might be kind of neat for some things...but i'm not so sure i could do twilight that way. LOL. especially since i skipped over a lot of the drivel in those. heh
