Okay, I honestly don't know what the hell that is about. First of all, have these people read Twilight? 50 Shades of Grey? AWFUL AWFUL WRITING. So, fuck them. Fuck them so much. Darling, have you ever considered just putting your work on Amazon? Publish it yourself, promote it among the fandom community because WE ALL LOVE YOU. There is a great article I read where SO many authors are doing this and making a living off of it. If I could just motivate myself to write something that didn't deal with other characters, I would be working on that right now!

Push this off, because the guy or girl who wrote this is an asshole. Steven King was told he was a horrible writer by SO many publishing companies. Now he can flip them the bird because we all know how he turned out.

Don't give up. Just forge your own path.

Yeah... Unfortunately Amazon is sketchy as fuck when it comes to self-publicizing (like, controls all rights to your work so if it IS a success they'll be the ones raking in the cash). But there are other self-publishers out there and if it comes to it I might consider it? Maybe? Ugh, bleh.
