EVERYTHING HAPPENED. EVERYTHING. INCLUDING THE LONGEST & SLOWEST SLOW WALK EVER (Harvey on the train in slow speed, Harvey slow walking in slow speed, Harvey finally fucking showing up at this grave as the camera pans in slow speed, intercut with the entire. fucking. rest. of the episode). That shit was RIDICULOUS. But I'm a-okay with it because Harvey was in beautiful casual clothes and I used his slow speed screen time to catch up with the ROILING WAVES OF EMOTION I was getting knocked around by in every other scene.

I was not expecting we would get mike-taking-tests-for-money origin story, I was not expecting ANY OF THE BACKSTORY THINGS ABOUT LOUIS, and I really really really wasn't expecting Harvey to a) like his father, b) OR THAT HIS FATHER DIED, WTF.

Oh my god, Harvey with his dad. I actually CRIED. Like, of course Gabriel Macht is a decent actor, whatever, but all of a sudden I realized he was a really fucking incredible actor. When he mouths "oh my god" silently, staring at his records, like he has nothing else to say? Harvey Specter, who always has something to say. Holy fuck. Amazing.

This episode just hit all of my feels.

I was NOT expecting that sucker punch, holy shit. I was stunned by his acting all over again--first time it really whacked me upside the head was when he and Donna are squaring off and he says she betrayed him, just. WHY DOES THIS SHOW ENJOY HURTING ME SO MUCH.
