It was very much more enjoyable than the recent few. I especially liked the Kamekona-headed shrimp on his apron. :grin: (I suspect the writer being a female is why the dynamic is a bit closer to that of the first season, but I may just be crazy - after all, Elwood Reid wrote the 'drawing hearts in the air' episode.)

I wrote a little thing in response to sheafrotherdon's lovely coda. Here's mine:

When they leave headquarters after the team celebration (aka, numerous viewings of the Fryer shot - courtesy of Chin's cell), Steve drives Danny back to Piikoi Street. It turns out that somewhere in the course of his fairly busy day, he'd arranged for Toast and Johnny D. to move all of Danny's stuff into his spare room (with dire consequences promised if anything vanished for later resale). Danny sputters and rants about B&E and wholesale thievery of possessions and encouraging those who clearly don't need any such thing, and how he's next to homeless - not helpless - and doesn't need charity, Steven. Steve leans back against the sink and crosses ( ... )

Oh I totally missed the Kamekona-deaded shrimp! I'll have to watch again. And unlike every other episode thus far of season two, I might actually rewatch it.

Same here! That's how it started. I was hoping that if I put the outline in a comment, she'd be bunnied into writing it. Then I sort of just wrote it. Totally sketchy and completely in need of fleshing out (and pictures or video), but it's a start.

I’m happy that I can say I liked this episode without lying! Though I will probably like next week’s even better since Five-0 will be officially back together (and maybe Joe White will go on vacation or something.) I’m glad that Kono was UC and not just being stupid, even though Steve and Danny should have checked in with her far earlier. But it’s far easier for me to forgive and forget that storyline now that things are looking up. :)

Also, I liked the part when Danny and Steve were discussing killing any guy who would take pictures of Grace. That girl is going to realize she has one overprotective family whenever she starts dating lol.

YES, Grace is just going to have to deal with the fact that her Dads will follow her on all her dates in the big black surveilance van for the rest of her life, that is just fact. ;3

I was going to hold up my hands and say, "I've never written het sex in my life!" But . . . I guess I have. I'll never write that anyway, but it sure is fun to think about. :)
