By the way...what the hell does one wear to a Harry Potter midnight showing if one does not have black robes or gryffindor-colored ties/scarves? Or Harry Potter glasses?

I am at a loss. *stares sadly at wardrobe*

Not if it's causing you this much trouble, lol. Midnight showings are about joy! Showing up with a good attitude is 90% of the battle. Relax, honey. You're going to be in a darkened theater for the important bit.

You could always just wear the Gryffindor colors. I'm a ridiculous geek and go sporting every house. I have a gryffindor skirt, slytherin tie, ravenclaw hoodie, and hufflepuff tee.

I went to see Return of the King's midnight showing and I didn't dress up - I just wore my elvish leaf necklace and that was all. (Well, not all - I wore clothes too!!) But I'm a little shocked that you don't own a HP tee or anything. I used to have a really cool Dumbledore's Army tanktop, but I threw it out when I got mad at the person who bought it for me - (I know, how 13 yr old girl of me) - and now I'm sad that I don't have it anymore. :(

Man, that song parody was hysterical - (and made me a little sad!) - I wonder if I can find an MP4 of the song.

Today The BFF and I had this conversation...

BFF: I guess we'll leave for the theater at 7:15 tomorrow and then it will all be over.
Me: Why are you saying these things?!?! WHY DO YOU WANT TO HURT ME?!
BFF: Because it's The End.
Me: WHY DO YOU HATE ME?! STOP IT!!
BFF: IT'S THE END!!! THE END!!
Me: STOP IT!! STOP IT!!

This went on for awhile.

I went with what I wore to work; jeans, sneakers, a casual pretty shirt and a hoodie that my mom wishes I wouldn't wear outside cos its old and has seen better days. Of course it wasn't a midnight showing. HP has been showing here all day. I went to an 8 o'clock viewing and just got back. It was epic. I cried, I laughed, I cried some more. I wanna see it again.
