this is my only harry potter icon, somehow

Just bought my tickets to Harry Potter. It's not the Imax, it's not even 3D, but it is my very first midnight showing. I'm torn between wondering about what the hell sort of costume I can throw together in three days and watching this vid on repeat trying to gulp back this ache in the back of my throat.

My two best friends and I have midnight IMAX tickets. They are coming in from out of town to see it with me. It's just that important.

I didn't exactly grow up with Harry Potter...I discovered it in college just before OotP came out but it has played a large part in my life. I did so many projects on it in college and there was that year of my life I spent unemployed reading HP fic like it was my job...

I'll miss it but I'm so excited to see the movie and I am glad that the story will always live on in fic. :D

That doesn't make you old! I met a girl who's 20 who has been to every midnight showing--but she has to miss the last one because she'll be in INDONESIA. Boo.

IIIII Am technically going to the movie by myself? I mean, I'm driving in with a friend, but she got her ticket way earlier and by the time I went looking that show had been sold out, so I'm going to one literally three minutes later and I will just SIT IN THE THEATER BY MYSELF and be awesome. :D
