The acting is suPERB, and i know i know, when i first saw they had Martin Freeman as Watson my face went o.O because it's the towel guy from Hitch Hiker's Guide, why would i want to imagine him naked? But trust me. You just have to see him, watch the way he interacts with Sherlock--he's just about as hot as Jude Law. ;D
